FCPC Membership
I. To become a MEMBER
1. To become a member of the FCPC requires filling out the FCPC105
and FCPC115
forms in duplicate.
2. Providing two copies of catalog with required information
contained therein.
3. Select annual payment amount on FCPC185 and send in
payment with items in 1. and 2. above. A new private faith based
institution without any current enrollment will pay Level 1 fees which
are the minimum.
4. A new private faith based institution must apply for
certification with the Council of Private Colleges of America, Inc.
within 24 months of joining the FCPC. FCPC Membership will be
provisional after 24 months until CPCA Certification is accomplished.
5. Private faith based educational institutions more than two
years old must come in as CERTIFIED by the Council of Private Colleges
of America, Inc. www.CPCAmerica.org
(see II. below). FCPC provisional membership will be granted contingent
on completion of CPCA Certification.
II. CPCA CERTIFIED FCPC MEMBER
CPCA CERTIFIED FCPC MEMBER private faith based institution
must:
1. Annually verify current CPCA Certification status with
submission of FCPC105
and FCPC120 Certified
Member form.
2. Provide a copy of current catalog with required
information contained therein.
3. Select annual payment amount on FCPC185 and send in
payment.
III. to become an ACCREDITED CPCA CERTIFIED FCPC
MEMBER
1. CPCA ACCREDTIED FCPC CERTIFIED MEMBER institution requires
the private faith based institution to be accredited by a U.S.D.O.E.
approved accrediting agency.
2. Fill out FCPC105
and FCPC 125 forms in
duplicate, check FEES on FCPC185 and select payment plan Level (based
on enrollment, see NOTE A.), and send in payment.
3. Submit copies of your most recent accreditation visit
approval from each U.S.D.O.E. recognized accrediting agency.
4. The private faith based institution accredited by a
U.S.D.O.E. approved accrediting automatically receives CPCA
CERTIFICATION that runs concurrent with time frame of their
accreditation.
5. The FCPC and CPCA may participate with accreditation
agency visit or do an independent visit of Florida locations that are
not visited by the accrediting agency.
