Greetings From The
President
Dr. Earle Lee
One consistent quality of human nature is that we
always have those who will say,
"We've always done it this way."
We have always done it this way, is a warning sign, a symptom
of impending doom. It often leads to being shackled by the claims of
conditioning and inertia of our faith based institutions. It is this
lack of ingenuity that causes business as usual responses and
ultimately is the prescription for disaster in the challenging faith
based education world of today as we are in the 21st century. Today,
more than ever before, the most important function of our FCPC member
private faith based institutions is planning and implementing change to
serve the faith based community and our students properly. We must be
fleet of foot, not slow to change.
I have personally committed more than three decades to
achieving quality faith based education standards that will work for
His honor and glory. Our goal is to create a level playing field for
private faith based educational institutions.
There should be no doubt in any of our minds that performance
must be the key to our joint organizational success under the FCPC.
Time, I believe will prove that the FCPC's job was to establish the
conditions under which our performance will serve the private faith
based education community, the churches, the institutions, and the
individual students best interests in mutually satisfactory
relationships.
Our member private faith based FCPC institutions can rejoice
in our powerful God who has given us the expertise and influence
necessary to do what it takes to deliver quality private faith based
education. God has given us the privilege to be instruments in our own
destiny. We are committed to our member, private, faith based
institutions successes and failures because we know we are responsible
for them on a level playing field.
Let me challenge each of our member private faith based FCPC
institutions to work and achieve a common vision of quality faith based
education while we recognize our individual religious liberties.
Let us move forward together with the FCPC for the honor and
glory of God. Let us be fleet of foot and not slow to change.
In His grip,
Dr Earle E. Lee, President
