Summary
" Twenty - five years in the ministry seems like the beginning of my reasonable service," says Dr. Abe Johnson, who is currently, in charge of Church Ministries at the Revival Center of Outreach Ministry, Havana, Florida under the leadership of Dr. Arthur Riggins, Pastor. Dr. Johnson is also the Presiding Elder of Smith Chapel AOH Church, President of Smith Chapel Bible College, CEO of CyberGate BBS Global~Network, a Professional Design/Hosting & Internet Marketing service and He also serve on the Executive Board of Directors of the Florida Council of Private Colleges, Inc.

The Family
Abe Johnson, Jr., born March 25, 1951, to the late Abe, Sr. & Azalee Johnson, grew up within site distance of the Apalachicola Bay, in the small fishing town of Apalachicola, Florida. He attributes the beginning of his awareness of God to his early years of attending Mount Zion Baptist Church, with his parents and five sisters and two brothers. Abe is the husband of Mittie Pollock-Johnson, of thirty-one years and the father of two married Sons: Abe, III & wife Trina and Derek & wife Kenya. Lieutenant Abe Johnson, a 1973 Distinguish (ROTC) graduate of Florida A & M University served honorable in the United States Signal Corps from 1973 - 1976. His resignation from the Armed Forces was an initial step toward God's Divine purpose for his life.

The Church
It was at the local church, the summer of 1977, that Abe and his wife Mittie repented and accepted the Lordship of Christ Jesus, according to Acts 2:38. This biblical conversion, one year later, led Abe, to understand and accept his call to ministry. Dr. E. D. Dixon, pastor of Tabernacle Baptist Church, in Greenville South Carolina, licensed Abe Johnson, September 03, 1978. He began to preach the Gospel as he had opportunity, and to exercise his gifts in the work of the Ministry.

The Ministry
Minister Abe Johnson was later ordained, July 13, 1981, and served as the Minister of Christian Education for Mount Pleasant Baptist Church, Atlanta, Georgia under the leadership of Pastor O. L. Blackshear. He graduated from Emory University earning the Master of Divinity Degree, December 1981. God opened the door for Elder Abe Johnson, April 17, 1984 to receive his final ordination to preach. He was set apart as Minister of the Full-Gospel of Jesus Christ, Smith Chapel Apostolic Overcomers Holiness Church of Christ, with International Headquarters in Apalachicola. Elder Johnson completed the requirements for his initial doctoral degree and earned, with honors, the Doctor of Theology Degree, June 24, 1994. His publications in progress includes The Dialectical Method of Biblical Exegesis: A Revelation Paradigm for Students Taught by the Holy Spirit - Studying Scripture scheduled for release spring, 2003 completes the requirement for earning the Doctor of Philosophy from his Alma Mata - The Intercultural Open University, Netherlands. Also, STEPPPP: A Biblical Model for Solving Individual and Family Problems schedule for release spring 2004 is considered the Pastor's Handbook for practical Nouthetic Counseling. Additionally, Dr. Johnson's active ministries includes but not limited to the following:
