Calling
In May of
1967, I surrendered to God's call to enter "full-time" Christian
work with a clear leading to take training for service. At that time I moved
back to Canada to attend seminary, believing that God would have me to go
into Christian Service Brigade Boys work upon graduation. However, through
the Spirit of God leading me to solve the problem of getting spiritual truth
imparted into our children's character, God caused me to examine education.
God led us to the clear-cut conviction of Christian education for our children
which meant leaving Canada. In my last year of seminary, I received a call
from Heritage Academy and accepted the position as Administrator. In response
to God's further call, I came to Beth Haven Christian School in 1977. Then
God led us to serve at Landmark Baptist Church & College in Haines City
in 1980 where I served as President of Landmark Baptist College until December
31, 1996. I resigned from church staff at Landmark in April 1999.
Since April,
1999 my ministry has been serving; 1.) Landmark Baptist Church in the choir,
ushering, and special projects as a lay person; 2.) Florida Council of Private
Colleges, Inc.;
3.) Consultlee & Associates, Inc. consulting work; 4.) ministering to numerous
senior citizens. with my wife Barbara, 5.) serving on boards and committees;
6.) staying politically involved in city, county, state, and federal governments
and 7.) traveling to Tallahassee during sessions of the legislature each year
to represent, pro-family, religious education, religious freedom, small business
and local government issues.
